We are looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join our team. Candidates must have a mechanical engineering degree and previous experience in a similar role in an industrial setting would be an asset.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to legislated and Company standards for safety, control, and housekeeping,
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established Company standards, policies, legislative requirements, and collective agreement provisions through regular safety crew meetings, general discussion, and individual communications,
  • Work closely with other operating and maintenance departments,
  • Responsible for developing, planning and implementing activities to increase equipment efficiency and reliability to positively impact operational production and to reduce maintenance costs.
  • Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills,
  • Candidates should have strong computer skills including experience with MS Office.

Compensation:

  • This is a salary position plus an annual bonus and fully paid relocation assistance is available,
