We are looking for a supervisor to join our team. Candidates must have a red seal trade certificate or diploma or degree in electrical engineering as well as at least 1 year of experience supervising unionized trades in an industrial facility. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient utilization of staffing and equipment while they perform maintenance and emergency repairs to the electrical distribution and its sub-systems, computer and process control systems and networks.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to legislated and Company standards for safety, control, and housekeeping,
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established Company standards, policies, legislative requirements, and collective agreement provisions, through regular safety crew meetings, general discussion, and individual communications,
  • Coordinate scheduling of routine and preventative maintenance functions by tradespersons,
  • Work closely with operating departments and planners to complete electrical maintenance,
  • Candidates should have strong leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills,
  • Candidates should have previous experience using a CMMS.

  • This is a salary position plus an annual bonus and relocation assistance,
