We are looking for a mechanical project engineer to join our team. This existing vacancy will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to legislated and Company standards for safety, control, and housekeeping,
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established Company standards, policies, legislative requirements, and collective agreement provisions through regular safety crew meetings, general discussion, and individual communications,
  • Ensure design precision, adherence to standards and on-time project completion are prioritized,
  • Coordinate project teams, oversee installations and implement strategies to optimize efficiencies and performance.

Your Profile:

  • Candidates must have an electrical engineering degree and at least five (5) years of project experience,
  • Candidates should have experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen,
  • Candidates must have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving skills,
  • A professional engineering license is an asset,
  • Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada at the time of applying for the position.

Compensation:

  • This is a salary position in the range of $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience plus an annual bonus and relocation assistance,
