We are looking for red seal millwrights to join our team. Candidates must have a red seal certificate and be able to legally work in Canada at the time of applying for the position.  Candidates should have a strong knowledge of mechanical systems and have excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work safely independently or as part of a team.  We offer both day and shift work opportunities along with relocation assistance to Thunder Bay.

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic inspections of equipment and systems to observe operating conditions and determine if equipment is in need for repair or adjustment,
• Inspect and test machinery for proper functioning,
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform tasks,
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and make necessary repairs,
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Previous experience working in an industrial facility would be an asset.

Compensation:

• Candidates with a provincial or red seal certificate less than three years start at $44.81/hour, candidates with a red seal certificate for more than three years start at $45.23/hour.  There are also shift and Sunday pay premiums,
• There is an opportunity for employees to earn an additional $1.75/hour once an on-line course is completed.  The course is paid for by the company,
